about
"Dis-Content" is an art project that aims to explore the relationship between art and content by utilizing various forms of narrative-based tools. The project raises the question of whether art is subjective and, if so, whether everything can be considered art. Dis-Content contends that the artist's intent of purpose for the art is more critical than the art itself, and it seeks to use art as a tool to explore the human experience and convey meaningful messages.
Through songwriting, poetry, illustration, and story writing, I hope that Dis-Content can examine the purpose of my own art and how it connects with the broader human experience as well as art/content in general. Ultimately, I'm just wanting to broaden my understanding of what art can be for myself and how it can be used to create meaningful experiences for both myself and you, the audience.
Discontent will consist of:
100 songs (in 5 parts)
Dp the Ghost Story (found in the lyric section of each song)
Illustrations By DepressionError Elizabeth Vincent Konrad
I aim to publish the lyrics of all the songs into a poetry book with more illustrations from DepressionError
